David Walliams dropped by longtime publisher.
Acclaimed writer for children and TV personality David Walliams is no longer with his publisher HarperCollins UK, the company has said.
An official for the publisher said: "Upon deliberation, and under the leadership of its new CEO, HarperCollins UK has chosen to cease publishing any new titles by David Walliams."
Reports indicate that the decision was made after an review of allegations of conduct deemed unsuitable towards young women.
The company did not confirm the reasons for its decision, noting: "We refrain from speaking about internal matters."
A Highly Successful Writing Journey
Walliams stands as a most best-selling authors for kids, boasting over over six tens of millions of copies globally in five dozen languages.
The debut children's novel from Walliams, *The Boy in the Dress*, was released through HarperCollins fifteen years ago.
A number of his books, including *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have found new life as television films.
He has published over four dozen titles combined, which features a festive story titled *Santa & Son*, which came out under HarperCollins this past October.

His career breakthrough occurred on the TV sketch series *Little Britain* and has been honored with National Television Awards for his work as a judge on *Britain's Got Talent*.
He was made an OBE several years ago in recognition of his work for charity and the arts.
The publisher's decision comes after the naming of Kate Elton as HarperCollins UK's new chief executive this past October.
