FC Barcelona Set to Play Historic Fixture at Renovated Camp Nou over the weekend

The club confirmed their first game will take place at the renovated but unfinished Camp Nou this Saturday. The club will host the Bilbao team in La Liga over two years after they moved out for construction to commence.

“We envisioned this comeback. The moment has arrived. Home again at Spotify Camp Nou.”

Not all seats will be available with 45,401 fans are permitted inside under the licence granted. Once fully finished, the Camp Nou is due to hold over 104,000 attendees, up from the previous 99,000. The club said recent additions comprise an updated entryway for the team along with upgraded changing facilities.

Recent Activities

The club conducted a fan-accessible workout on the home pitch earlier this month. Officials stated approval is being pursued from European football’s governing body for their upcoming Champions League fixture versus the German side on 9 December at Camp Nou. They have been hosting matches at Estadio Olímpic Lluís Companys.
